We had our March for Babies, March of Dimes walk on Saturday. I left the house with all of my needed items, stroller, umbrellas, snacks, water, coat for Gracie and a change of clothes for her “just in case.” When we got to the park, it started raining, and I kicked myself for not bringing a coat for myself. But we forged ahead. Walking one mile in the rain is not bad at all. Gracie didn’t even get wet, she laid down in the stroller and pulled her feet in under the umbrella, she was good. Me, on the other hand, couldn’t push that stroller for nothing with one hand. I had a hold of the umbrella with the other. I didn’t want to get wet. Just as we were fixing to make the turn at 1/2 mile, it quit raining, so we decided to walk the full 3 miles! It was great! We walked along, told funny stories and Gracie made a new friend in Stacy. After all was said and done, we had a great lunch and a great day!
